Hello friends.

It is high time for a "channel update" of sorts.

I have missed making captions like I used to do. I did not want to stop making it. I still do not want to stop making it. I have been hoping that this site would, some day, again become a place where I can upload and host all of my crazy ideas, relatively freely. I was hoping that what happened to my account was a kind of temporary purge, that the deletion of my content was, as it were, a storm "passing by", and that once the storm passed, we could go back to how things were.

Unfortunately, based on what I can tell, during my (involuntary) hiatus, this site has become significantly less free, not more free, and the content that I see others upload has also become worse, not better. To some degree these are purely subjective judgements, so please tell me if your opinion differs. But either way, I have become convinced that this site has nurtured an environment in which it is impossible for me to thrive. I assume this is also intentional.

At some point, a man must abandon his hopeless dreams. So, I abandon my dream that imagefap can "return to form". Or, in more selfish and entitled words: I was hoping imagefap would let me do what I want.

So!

WHAT TO DO?

A while ago, shortly after my account was nuked for no apparant reason, I was encouraged to seek refuge over at tumblr. At the time, this was the most reasonable suggestions. But there were two reasons why I did not do so. Firstly, because tumblr allowed only for garbage resolution for images. I take some pride in the technical aspects of the content I created and I did not want to be locked into their max resolution of 1920x1280. Secondly, tumblr is a platform for crazy degenerate leftists, and I did not want to help give that site any traffic.

Not long ago, in a baffling move, tumblr also purged all porn from the site. So, uploading to tumblr is no longer possible. Not even in theory.

I would prefer to upload my content to a site or to a platform that actually takes a principled stance for the freedom to create edgy and "offensive" content. (And to be honest, this is, objectively speaking, the only reasonable stance for a porn hosting site to take.) I would also prefer to upload my content to a site that has a relatively large "userbase" for people who enjoy the kind of thing that I make. 

As far as I know, no such place currently exists.

To some degree I can compromise on my demands – I'm actually not an unreasonable person – but I can't upload to a place where neither of my conditions are met at all. And I certainly can't upload to a place that has been actively hostile against me, against my interests and against my content.

So: I will be actively searching for somewhere else to upload my content.

 Also, as always, please be aware that I am sitting on quite a lot of unuploaded content. Some of that content is edgy, some of it is extremely edgy, some of it is not edgy at all, some of it is hentai. Some of it is translated hentai also. All of this content – several hundred images, I reckon – is sitting, at all times, on my computer. I am perfectly happy to share it with anyone who wants to see it. So please just send a request for it in a personal message. (But, if you do so, please let me know exactly what kind of content you are interested in. I don't want to send you shit that you don't want anything to do with.)
