Only just tried poppers myself a month ago for the first time, I love them. Might not be for everyone, but it definitely helped me go from inserting small stuff to moving onto bigger objects. Just be safe with your usage. I found the /popperpigs subreddit to be really helpful, even if it is meant for gay guys rather than sissies.
As far as buying stuff online, I used to have that problem too. Most if not all reputable adult stores ship discreetly, so there's nothing on the return address that will give away where it's from. Unless the people you live with are nosy, it shouldn't be a problem. Some stores sell lingerie as well as toys, so you can kill two birds with one stone!
