Does this sound right?

I seem to know what I should do. I caught myself trying to be perfect to him, not exactly who I really am. This is because he is too young and I'm too old for him. I don't want to shock him, but gradually I'll tell him everything.
But at first I'll tell him I love him too!
Counting hours until we meet again.
