I own a 4-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 2-story home in a very nice community in South Florida.
My community has a Homeowners' Association which enforces certain rules and collects quarterly maintenance fees.
My neighbor directly across the street is a nice-looking guy, divorced and in his 40's.
His wife and I were close friends before she left him.
Until his divorce, he and I were neighborly friends.
However, since his divorce I have noticed him peeking out his upstairs bedroom window at me on a few occasions while washing my car and cutting the grass.
While wandering up and down the street looking for my cat, he approached and said out of the clear blue sky... 'What the hell is going on in your house?'
I politely asked what he meant, and he said he notices cars coming and going at all hours and wonders why so many cars are parked in my driveway at any given time.
I asked if that was illegal in a very sweet tone of voice of course, and he rudely replied that I can expect to hear from the Homeowners' Association very shortly.
If he only knew. Hahaha.
