Sweety?

Again yesterday, a fan took issue with me for addressing him as 'sweety.'
He felt uncomfortable being called 'sweety' due to the fact that we are not personally acquainted.
To set the record straight, we Southern blacks commonly refer to strangers as 'sweety' or 'hun.'
I address nearly everyone in that manner.
I even refer to my gorgeous male cat whom I adore as 'sweety' so please do not be offended.

Well, I like when somebody call mee "sweety" or "honey"..
It may sound strange, especially in public, but nevetrheless it is very pleasent and makes me feel more femine.
