GOALS AND GUIDELINES Part 1

To Please, Serve, and Obey. In order of priority, the slave's primary duties are to Please, Serve, and Obey her Master. This document describes how the Master wishes the slave to behave in order to please the Master in most circumstances. However, this protocol is a set of guidelines, not rigid rules. If the slave encounters a situation where obeying this protocol might not please or serve or her Master, she should use her own judgment and knowledge of basic principles, and act in way that she believes will be pleasing and of service to her Master. Likewise, if following this protocol would violate one of the slave's limits or otherwise cause distress to the slave, such distress is not pleasing to the Master, and the slave should discuss the problem with the Master so that it may be resolved.
A Closer Look:
At the onset of a Master slave relationship these three aspects must be clearly defined and must not leave any room for ambiguity. To please, serve and obey may have many interpretations, however the only interpretation that matters is the one defined by the Master. Moreover it is the Master's responsibility to make the meanings crystal clear to the slave, thus the slave will be able to excel at pleasing, serving and pleasing her Master in all circumstances.
In conclusion communication in any type of relationship is paramount to its success.
