Car ride home as Christmas

We used to go out at the end of the week on Friday nights with our friends and work mates. They did not know that Lynda was a glamour model. It was near Christmas so we decided to go to Burton upon Trent that evening, we took two cars Richard's and mine a Ford Zodiac straight six, bench seats, three gear column change, for those who like to know that sort of thing.
We did a few pubs in the town, then decided to head back down the A50 to Coalville for an Indian.
