post as many tags as you think fits, this will link your pic's and profile
to many different searches.
Also the more galleries the more attention you will get. Perhaps even getting featured on the main page.

As well as replying to comments also try the chat rooms and link your pics on there that'll help

Respond to comments, guys see you respond and comment more often. Find ways to privately chat with people, whether it be messages or the chat rooms or kik/skype/etc.
For me, I'm less likely to comment if I'm seeing multiple pics with lots of comments and no response from the poster. Also helps if you're chatting with some privately. I'll comment on pics more often as a "thank you" for an enjoyable chat.
