I think it's great that you added the disclaimer (Fantasy not my real mother). I am ending my affair with my real Mom on August 1st, and we will enter family therapy on the 4th. It has been going on between us since November and I've been living with her as her lover since January. I love her very very much, and I wish more than anything that we could continue our relationship forever . . but it just isn't possible. Eventually we would get found out and our lives (especially Mom's) would be ruined. People write fantasies here about incest and they focus only on the sexy aspects of it, never the realities or the emotional conflicts involved. Then they don't call their creative efforts fantasies, they try to pass them off as realities. This is terrible because it contributes to normalizing something that is NOT normal at all. I've loved being my Mom's lover, but I ended up in that relationship because of dysfunction, it was not a healthy situation between us for many years. Hopefully all these issues can be worked out and our relationship can truly heal and be functional from August onward. I would NEVER encourage anyone to do what I have done and seduce their own parent, the dangers are too great, the emotional price too high. Thanks again for being honest and responsible. ~ Tabby
