From when we were young to the time I graduated from college, we used to always take a family trip to Mexico. We stayed genrally at the same resort, which had its own pool and recreational activities etc. It was during my late teen years that I discovered the community's equivalent of the YMCA, which was half a mile walk down the beach. That's where I would sneak off to because the outdoor pool was always filled with teenage locals in bikinis. I learned to speak spanish because I needed to be able to speak with them. It was simply amazing.
