I think... Delete Inactive
|
|
Since the Passwords switching went back to the faces of many UN
happy people, in my opinion others ways would be "better" or more useful
for all.
Passwords auto switch first should be in a question mark (make a
poll or something) because as you can see made many people overact about a
simple thing.
In my opinion "30 days inactive will be deleted" is a
better way to handle inactive users.
after dealing with the inactive run the poll (if possible) and if
the majority will choose that its a good thing, once a year I guess will be
fine too all.

They changed everyone's passwords, because there was a hacker or bug in the system, and accounts were in jeopardy. It had nothing to do with trying to get rid of inactive users. As far as it being a simple thing, that got everyone upset, it's not so simple. Some users such as myself, changed internet providers very recently, and the email account I used when I joined imagefap is longer valid, it is a DEAD email account. So as many people got there new passwords, there are some who will never receive that email. You can't send someone a temporary password to an email account that is no longer in use. Are you starting to see the bigger picture here? An email sent to ALL users in there imagefap mailboxes prior to changing the passwords, would have prevented all of this, and given active members a chance to update there profile information.(put there current email address in so they receive a temporary password)
