Back in the 1970's and 80's during my wildest years, I marched to a beat of "Different Drum" that was my chosen theme

song for my life. No guy was going to get me hooked emotionally. My high school sweetheart burned me and from that point

on my goal was to behave like men claim they behaved. 

It took a few years but the way to do it is give guys a set date night or date time. If it all works you can even

have three guys in day but in all honesty, that was quite ususual, two men in day yes.

The problem is men decide they could call you. The bar scene was huge back then, nightly drinking was

commonplace and socially accepted. As was cocaine. It was everywhere and that drug makes people chatty

and provides more confidence than alcohol and of course people did both.

So, it was quite common for men to call and leave a message while I was on date with another guy. Hated that. Had

to call them the next day and read them the riot act. Their time is when we are together, if I am horny for you believe me you'will

get a call from me but you can always say no, just as I am telling you no. Was I a bitch. Hell yes, men need to be put iin their place and this was before sexual harrassment was a buzzword. Men were men and much ruder and forward than today.

It would be so easy to be young polyamous woman now with cel phones and texting.  Do guys even call girls anymore unless asked specifically to do so. My experience with the few adventures with men under 35 in the last several years tells me no.  

Yet, talking on the phone was a great way to get to know people, flirt and develop intimacy. How does one develop a LTR these days? Texting? Email. Think how easy it is to carry on multiple relationships that way.
