1. Fake people you know. If there's no excitement beyond putting a new head on a nude, it's not very interesting. I do celeb fakes, but not often. If you know the person and have fantasized about them it's worthwhile. If I fake for you it is because I want to know when you next meet that person, you will get an extra excitement. I like to know more about my subjects if possible.
2. Big, sharp images. It is unrewarding to use small images. Usually a face should be atvleast 400px high to be remotely worthwhile. Focus problems can be managed by degrading the base image. But it is not ideal either.
3. Consider your actions. If someone who knows the person found the image, would it spiral out of control? I do not think i will fake pictures of teachers, for example, because if one pupil found the image here and it was shared, that person would be humiliated and distressed. This activity is by definition objectifying and that is bad enough. I will happily remove images if you worry the subject, or their friends, might see it and become upset. These are real people.
4. Monitor your behaviour. Be objective with yourself: is constant sexualization of people around you causing you to become obsessed or to objectify women in your life. If so, seek help. Looking at naked pictures of your sister-in-law is one thing. Once that changes how you react to her even a bit - that is a problem.
I do not mean to preach. But porn is a dangerous drug. Use wisely.
