Well since it's the position, I'd imagine it's her arms that are bothering her? Maybe do a 'ass up - face down' position where she rests her head on some pillows.
If that isn't it, you may be out of luck if she just isn't comfortable that way. Got to keep her happy, right? ;)

For me, it was making sure their is enough lube, too much is better then too little.
And training her (or yourself) by using small plugs or dildos first and work up to the size you'd like to be able to take.
