FAQ - I'm thinking about "doing it" with a family member.

I'm thinking about "doing it" with a family member.
  • How should I go about convincing my (family member) to have sex with me? Should I give in to my (family member)'s sexual advances?
Not advised. Not even if you're mutually attracted. Even if you did everything right -- you lived in one of those places where it was legal, you and your partner consented, you used protection, etc. -- the emotional outcome may not be entirely pleasant for you and your family member, and more than likely would be devastating for one or both, with long term implications. Yes, there are people who might risk it, and there are people who make videos of it (which may or may not be genuine). If the act didn't ruin the relationship, posting the video probably would, eventually. So, add it all up, and you get: Not advised.
So if your home life is an incest temptation, you should resolve it peacefully. I'm not saying how or with whom. Just don't run the risk of hurting or ruining somebody else's life, including your own.
  • Surely there are ways to "break the ice" about my incest interest with my family member, right?
There's nothing wrong with talking about it, as long as there's no pressure. That's important. If you're the elder family member, and especially if you're a male, you have to be aware that you are probably perceived as a dominant influence over the other family member. Neither of you should comply for approval; that's not good enough.
  • What if my family and I watched incest videos together to "break the ice", and to show that other families do it?
Not a good idea. It could come across like a high-pressure sales tactic. However - you could ask the family member to watch a recommended incest video in private, and then ask for their opinion, or use it to explain or relate your inner thoughts. That's relatively safe.
  • What about the family members in all those incest videos?
Sorry to burst your bubble: most "incest videos" are either professional porn, role-play, or mislabeled general porn. The remainder - what I believe is either "genuine" or "close enough" - is less than 10%. That 10% also includes coerced, forced, and other non-ideal situations. You figure out what that means. There's money to be made, but not for the majority of the females in front of the camera.
