It basically means who you are romantically attracted to. Not to be confused with sexual orientation, who you are sexually attracted to. It gets confusing but hear me out. Person A is straight they are ONLY sexually attracted to the opposite sex. They are hetero-romantic meaning they only have relationships with the opposite sex. Person B is gay they are ONLY sexually attracted to the same sex. They are homo-romantic, meaning they only have relationships with the same sex. Person C is bisexual, they are sexually attracted to BOTH sexes. They are bi-romantic meaning they have relationships with both sexes. And then there is me: I am bisexual but hetero-romantic, meaning I have sex with both sexes but only want a relationship with the opposite sex.
