So a lot of women fail to comprehend why so many men are turned on by the cuckold lifestyle. And I't's understandable, often the men themselves don;t even understand it. So let me shed some light on this extremely arousing topic.

The arousal for women is pretty obvious, so I won't go into too much detail, other than to say, adultery is empowering for a woman. Having the power to choose who we take as a mate, is a sexually arousing proposition where the male is completely at the mercy of our decision.

But for men, it's a little more complicated. I mean, why would a guy want to fantasize over his partner being unfaithful, and further more, why is the thought of her having unprotected sex with another man, even more arousing?

Well until recently, biologists thought that there was only one kind of sperm in semen and one purpose. Swim to the egg and inseminate it. Biologists Robin Baker and Mark Bellis found that these “egg-inseminators” make up only about one per cent of a man’s sperm count. So, what about the rest? They discovered that most sperm don’t swim to the egg at all. Instead, men have “killer” and “defender” sperm. Killer sperm is designed to hunt and destroy the sperm of other men that may also be present in the woman’s vagina, while defender sperm are designed to defend a man’s inseminators from attack by another man’s killer sperm.

How did this genetic battle come about? Scientists speculate that our ancestors were not monogamous, and often several competing males would mate with one fertile female within the space of a few days of one another. The sperm from these men would then cohabit within the uterus and falopian tubes of the female. So it stands to reason that evolution would create a counter to the other sperm fighting for the ultimate prize of fertilizing an egg. Thus killer sperm became apparent in some males. These males then go on to procreate much more sucessfully than the other males, wiping them out entirely. Once again, survival of the fittest is at play.

So could this be the reason for men to become sexually aroused when faced with an adulterous partner? Is it the males natural instinct to "claim" her back and add his sperm into the mix in the hope that his little soldiers can fend of the invaders?
