Well, first of all, I found it on Ebay for $25, with free shipping. Since MSPR is $150, I couldn't not. 

Second, I really like the look of a chastity device on a person, and I'm the only one around to put it on. Besides, I sort of like the feel! I don't plan on wearing it for long, but it's fun to have on when I'm looking around here and posting and stuff. Also, I think one of the hottest things is seeing cum drip out of a chastity cage, and I kind of want to try to recreate that. First step down. Now I just need a powerful vibrator and a lot of time. ;) 

But if I'm a switch, why are there just tons (for me) pictures of chastity/cbt/etc? It's pretty simple: I really like BDSM, but there's really only one type of bondage/play one can do without a second party -- self-bondage. I'd really like to be doing things with people, but that's not really an option right now. The best I can do is tie myself up, tease myself, and play random self-denial games. That's as good as it gets.

Of course, I was thinking about this blog post a bit ago, after I ordered the cage and before I put it on, because I myself was wondering why submissive stuff was all I've been doing. I came upon the "there's no other options" answer, and realized I was sort of wrong. I suppose there's dom-by-mail as an option, though I'm really not sure how that's going to fall into my lap without actively seeking it out. I dont' even know if that's really an option that's feasible. I might be willing to try, though. 

However, until/unless someone comes along and wants to be an e-mail slave, even supposing that's something I'd do, playing submissive to myself is about what I've got. So I bought a $25 chastity belt and write about like a whore trying to come in it, and that's kind of alright with me.
