When I first moved to NYC, I kept up the physical relationship with the woman I met on the Internet for a month, and it was fun, but a bit too intense perhaps, and I didn't fit. Ultimately, it didn't work out. We're still friends, though.
I went clubbing almost every weekend for the first couple of years in the city, usually crossdressed, Living on my own, spent a lot of time with toys and increasing amounts of Internet porn. I went back to boys, and had some fun with casual sex, including an entertaining threesome in the Meat Rack on Fire Island one summer. During those first couple of years in the city, I met my current wife for the first time though mutual friends (including the previous lady), and as I was gay at the time, I eventually became her GBF; we had lunch together periodically for years. After being in the workforce for a while, got laid off and went back to school as a returning student, even joining the college's Pride group as as the token transgender, as I'd been crossdressing for years at that point and didn't entirely identify as male (even less so now).
Spent a while dating a lovely guy I met on a dating site; tall, black, sweet, smart, hung... and ultimately boring as watching paint dry, so I ended that.
A while after I graduated, current wife was between relationships, we started spending a lot more time together, and after a series of little indications that we weren't uninterested in each other (and the occasional mildly surprising wet dream involving her), I asked her out and she accepted. We dated for a while, discovered that we were very compatible sexually (she's flexible, playful, sensuous, and can suck the metaphorical chrome off a trailer hitch), fell madly in love, and after another while I proposed and she accepted. It's been great since!
Don't dream it, be it!
