Safe.

I'm getting this more and more lately. Safe sex. There are so many guys out there that don't want it. I even got told if I was a real gay guy I'd have no problem doing it condom free. So now I know that I am only a pretend homo according to that guy! Don't get me wrong I do enjoy bareback sex but only when it's someone I'm in a relationship with. Someone like me who gets around a bit it really is asking for trouble going bareback every time. I really don't get how these guys are so dismissive of any kind of responsibility. It is quite scary. But it points out who to avoid too. And really if I'm being a bottom guy in bed it doesn't feel any different at all with or without a rubber. I wish guys could realise that. Another one of my opinions for the day!

I think the rise is due to the mentalitiy of people.
ONS, drunk sex...
Many STDs are treatable and don't seem to be a big deal to many people, and even with HIV you can live long nowadays.
Stil it's just plain stupid not to use protection if you're not aware of a person's status. You're not just putting yourself at risk, but everyone you sleep with.
Whoever said condoms weren't for real gays certainly isn't woth having sex with.

Thanks for the comment. Is it coincidence std's are on the rise with the mentality that I mentioned? Probably not. It really pissed me off being told REAL gay guys don't use protection. It just seems like pure ignorance to me. Ok I am guilty of going unprotected but only with people I genuinely know are clear of anything and guys I do have relationships with. I could rant for days about this. Appreciate your comment though and thank you.

I totally agree with you.
Even if it's a treatable STD, it's just not worth it.
They are on the rise again anyways.
