Changed my mind... permanently. The burdizzo hurts like a sonofabitch (bit down on one of the balls from my Master Series Black Baller, which took the place of a ball gag; there was a certain amount of screaming involved), but once it's closed, it stops hurting. Had it closed for 25 minutes, a little longer than the Body Modification Ezine recommendation. I have an 18" one, which provides just enough leverage to close it myself.

Oxycodone helps. My wife had some left over from an appendectomy, so took 2 on top of a six-pack of beer. Probably not ideal for my health, but oh well. We'll see how I feel in the morning. Afterward, applied disinfectant.

In any case, I'm no longer a man per se, which also means that my wife's no longer entirely straight. We'll see how all this pans out over the longer term.
