Well I guess it is an odd kink to have, a liking for taking peoples temperatures. I guess you could say that it is just yet another anal fixation :P but no for me there is a lot more to do with the power involved.

Think about it, at the doctors you are completely at the whim of the medical staff. If the doctor thinks that you kneed a rectal temp instead of an oral or tympanic then who would be brave enough to argue. Well all have the right to refuse treatment but are so ingrained with the notion that doctor knows best the most would not question why they are given antibiotics in suppository form.

I think power is the key in most play like this, to have someone totally at your whim, there is an element of the taboo as there was when playing when younger. That knowing that you should not really be looking where you are and that you are up close and personal with a very intimate part of someone’s body. Lets face it there isn’t a much more guarded place on someone than the bottom.
