This magazine dates from 22/10/2003, which makes it about ten years old. It’s one of the magazines where sex does not appear – aside from a little masturbation. The magazine – as you can see on the last page – features mostly solo-girls, but the big pic on the cover, usually features two or three girls. This copy is no exception to that rule.

When we look at the cover, you can’t deny the amount of clothes. The two girls on the big central pic are fully clothed (this is very common for this magazine) while from the seven other girls four have their tits exposed, one has her knickers down a bit so we get a suggestion of her pussy, and one is completely naked (above her breasts she has still a pink top, but you know what I mean).

Katja does the introduction. At that time she was one of the webcam-girls of Seventeen. You can see more of her in my galleries.

The introduction is quite great. By this I mean, the words that are used are exactly what a Seventeen-fan expects. On the other side: it’s not particularry about this copy of the magazine. None of the girls that will appear on the next pages are mentioned so that it could be used for every Teen Test as long as Katja was working for the company.

Did Katja wrote the text? It could be, but it’s impossible to tell. Whoever wrote those lines (or translated them) will have done it in the knowledge that it doesn’t matter to anyone who wrote them, the only thing that matters is: how vaginal can you get?

But also: the text is very honest. This magazine is not about the beauty of nude girls, it’s not in any way artistic. It’s just about horny girls who act as if the reader (viewer) was their boyfriend.

This is a lot different than the first Seventeen-magazines in the 70’s and early 80’s. There the target audience was supposed to be teenage girls. In 2003 they could not sell this story anymore, and so it became the potential boyfriends of teenage girls. This was a bit closer to the truth, but of course the main audience was (and is) pornfans. In other words: people who don’t dream about one of these girls being their girlfriend, but just people who love looking at naked girls. The introduction plays with this information. 

Next we get to see all the girls in a random order. Most of the girls on this selection of pics are as good as naked. The clothes they are wearing are purely decorative and don’t hide their breasts or vaginas from us. You should know: most of these magazines were wrapped in plastic. So you get to see the girls on the cover, but to see them naked, you would have to unwrap the plastic, which means: you’d have to buy the magazine.

So now I’ll review each photoshoot.

 

 

Tara and Eveline: 

They take the central cover-picture and this pic is way better than the first two pics. I especially dislike Eveline in this shoot (the girls on the right). She’s not ugly, on the cover she’s quite beautiful, but the photographer should have directed her better. It’s like she’s on the edge of a nervous breakdown. And maybe – you never know – she was really nervous – and you could say that nervous girls might be part of the concept of Teen Test – but it’s just not pleasant to look at. Why? Because it seems fake. Totally fake. 

I also don’t know about the stuffed animals. These girls are minimum 18yo. I know – you can be 20 or 30 and still sleep with a stuffed animal – but to actually pose with them… Again: I just don’t buy it.

Their first line: ‘We are keeping our knickers on!’, deserves some explanation too. 

In the early days of Seventeen, until the 80’s, girls would sometimes keep their knickers on when posing for Teen Test. Why? Because they featured girls that were really young, like 15 or 16yo (they also had 20yo btw). The Seventeen fans bought the magazines because of that.

When Tara and Eveline posed for Teen Test there was no way they could keep their knickers on. First of all: they are minimum 18yo and second (and more important): Magazines started getting heavy competition from the internet. A nude-magazine with photoshoots where girls would actually appear only half naked, would be a non-seller.

So it’s a bit strange.

What I like about the first pics – with the girls fully clothed – is how the girls actually tease with their knickers. They may be fully clothed, but there’s hardly any pic to find where you could be mistaken about the goal of these pics: they are all meant to sexually arouse you.

From as soon as pic 013 the girls go naked. Tara looks kinda cool and inviting on this pic and Eveline… Well I just don’t know what anyone was thinking when they shot her with that facial expression.

The best nude pic is on 016 where the girls compare their tits. It’s a damn shame we never see the backs of the girls when they are nude.

 

 

Wendy:

Wendy is completely different. This shoot is done right before a fuck-shoot with a guy (I know this because I have the Seventeen-Special with her sexshoot in in).

Wendy has her (large) breasts already exposed on the first page. She goes on spreading her legs while pushing her knickers aside. I think she looks kinda ordinary and I like her better when she’s having sex.

 

 

 

Debby:

Next is ‘I am still a virgin’-Debby. I don’t really care about her statement.

What they are trying to provoke with Debby is some sort of innocence. But again: I don’t buy it. You overlook it at first, but she actually has a Barbie-magazine on the bed while pulling her knickers aside to show us her cunt.

But – in her favor – I like how she bents over. Her round ass is quite tasty and so is her asshole. I think that – instead of the masturbation – I would rather have seen her in more creative positions. I get the feeling no-one was really inspired during this shoot.

 

 

Quinty:

Quinty is the first shoot that get’s it all right. I don’t think the girl is very pretty or cute, but she has a raw sexual energy and enthousiasm that I like. The fact that she’s wearing sportshoes, really ads something I think. I like the way she shows us her ass on 033, only to show us her pink combination of cunt and asshole on 034. All the pics that follow, are all about her cunt and how she loves posing with her legs spread. You really see the girl is excited about this.

 

 

 

Anoesjka…

…is definitely the best shoot of the magazine. It builds up perfectly. I don’t even mind the stuffed animal on the first page (especially because she reveals her cunt already on the first page, which comes as quite a nice surprise considering almost no girl does that on the first page.)

Now the next page (039) mainly focusses on the girl’s breasts. You can tell Anoesjka likes showing them. On the top-left she looks a bit shy and it looks like she has just revealed her boobs to the photographer. This is the first time in the magazine you could actually believe a girl is showing her tits to the public for the first time.

And it builds up nicely because on the bottom-right pic, Anoesjka is quite relaxed. (What I also like is how her breasts are held together on the top-left, while falling more to the sides on the bottom-right – just something that comes to mind when ‘studying’ these pics.)

The texts are also well written and really add to the pictures. Let’s review it.

‘In my mother’s land it is not very usual that girls stand before the camera naked.’

The girl says that in Russian girls pose nude, but it’s more unusual than in Holland. This is the myth that Seventeen was still trying to push in 2003. 

The myth is: in Holland girls like showing their bodies. They encourage one another to pose naked. Seventeen is popular amongst young girls and girls form other countries envy them.

But: At this moment – if you look at any Seventeen production – ALL the girls come from behind the former Iron Curtain. Ten years ago this was already starting (I wonder how many of the girls featured in this magazine could actually speak Dutch.)

The myth goes on in the next sentence: ‘But when I read Seventeen here, I knew for certain that that was something I wanted to do!’

You see: young girls love Seventeen. And if you read between the lines, it is suggested that her mother knows Anoesjka reads Seventeen-magazines and that it’s quite common that a porn-magazine is bought by immigrants. Like: if you want to fit in: Dutch families have nude-magazines in their home, it’s a tradition.

I don’t know if the person who made this stuff up, was aware of all this subtext, but this is the reason why – in my opinion – this text actually works.

But it get’s even better: ‘And so forgive me if I appear to be a bit prudish but really this is very cool for me. I am now very proud of the fact that I have dared to do it and also quite turned on…’

First of all: you might think that the bad English is purposely done, but in Dutch the text is quite fluent, so I guess it’s just a mistake.

But it works! Can you imagine? The girl actually asks us to ‘forgive her’! Like anyone would mind if a girl is a bit shy when she ‘goes naked for the first time’ - as the magazine promises. That’s why the fans buy this kind of a magazine (and so far all the girls are not exactly shy, that’s a bit of a turn-off). But the ‘author’ of the text, really knows what he’s doing here. Seventeen did it again: a girl’s dream to pose nude is coming true and we can witness it for the very first time.

On the next page (040) the girl masturbates a bit and shows us her ‘behind’. The pics look good and the texts are mainly about the girl getting aroused and sharing the pleasure of getting naked with us.

Then we get to see her naked form behind. It’s truly a great pic. The girl seems indeed a bit shy and naughty at the same time. All the pics that follow feature Anoesjka completely naked. She has a nice ass (her skin is not pale around the buttocks and it suits her) and seems to enjoy herself.

The texts keep going on. She gets more and more aroused. The ‘prudish’ girls ends with:

‘I am crazy about giving head, do you like to have your cock sucked? My favourite position is doggy style (I guess the author saw that the shoot started focusing on the buttocks), what do you prefer best? Oh, I am going to let myself come!’

And indeed: the last pic features Anoesjka in full glory touching her shaved pussy. She has passed the test. Not only has she posed nude, she actually likes it so much, she can’t help herself ending up masturbating. 

Anoejska truly arouses me. I might have been a bit ironic, but I think the girl did a great job.

 

 

Veronica.

The problem with Veronica is: she doesn’t get naked. By that I mean: she shows us her ‘goodies’, but her clothes remain on her body. I always experience some kind of freedom when a girl get’s completely naked, and I miss that here.

Yet: the girl looks kinda good. She matches the profile but… she’s not a Seventeen girl. You see: there’s no to Seventeen whatsoever in this shoot. You notice this in the texts too: they just describe what you see. 

So this shoot simply hasn’t the Seventeen-touch. You notice this from the start because this girl is not holding up a number (Tara and Eveline don’t do this as well, which makes me believe their shoot was originally not intended for Teen Test, yet they get the cover.)

Bella.

Bella’s shoot starts with her holding a number. Yet I think this shoot is also not an original Seventeen production.

In the 80’s and 90’s it was pretty common for Seventeen to have photoshoots that were not lit nicely, but by the year 2003 they usually made sure the light was soft. This makes the girls’ their skin look better and the overall look of the photos is simply less cheap.

Quick and cheap are the words that come to mind when watching these pics. I like how Bella smiles and shows her legs and knickers in the first pic, but I really dislike the light and the background.

Next she gets into a ‘very nice fucking position’, but she does it in such a routines way, I don’t really care for it.

The same goes for all the pics that follow. It’s like this girl isn’t really into it. Yet I don’t think she lacks talent for posing nude (and I don’t mean this sarcastically. First of all it takes a lot of guts to show yourself like Bella and besides that it requires talent to make a nice build-up when stripping your clothes off) – but I think it was shot way too fast by a not so talented photographer. Who knows – and I truly hope so – there are way more nicer pics than this of Bella.

 

 

 

Petra.

I think Petra is a Seventeen-girl. She poses in front of a Dutch flag and the shoot is very colorful. But most importantly: the girl seems to enjoy what she’s doing.

I don’t think Petra is a very pretty girl. This does not matter. One of the things I have learned while watching tons and tons of nude girls, is that women do not have to be pretty to sexually arouse you. 

Yet Petra does not arouse me that much, but no-one can blame her or the photographer. I mean this shoot is quite good. 057 is a good example of how to frontally photograph a nude girl with her nickers down her legs. And next she masturbates a bit, which is nice to look at as well.

 

 

Petra (again?)

Petra is the last girl and they want us to believe she’s a student. She has a dictionary and a study-book next to some Seventeen-magazines (because we all know female students love porn-magazines). 

Because the photo’s were taken in her dorm-room, they had to use a flash. This is why these photo’s look so ugly. BUT: they are ugly on purpose.

It doesn’t matter much. This last shoot is a total failure. There’s not one point where I actually think Petra is feeling anything except utter boredom. The text that goes with this shoot is totally absurd. It’s about how she lost her virginity and how excited she was. Why isn’t she excited now? 

It could be that it’s all an act. That the photographer said: this is for people who like to masturbate while looking at girls who say to them: ‘I’m a dumb whore and have no selfrespect.’

But if that is the case, then the text doesn’t make any sens

e. To me it looks like: let’s just make a text that expresses how great sex is, because we have just found out that this girl doesn’t express that at all. Because of that, it’s not a surprise that on the overview on 003, her presence is lacking.

In conclusion: Anoesjka rules. Not because she’s the prettiest girl – it’s really a mistake to think that porn and nudity are about beauty – but both photographer and girl knew what they were doing. 

I don’t think any Seventeen-fan cared about the concept of the magazine. My guess is that the majority of these girls were older than 19 at that time. I hope most of these girls had a good time and did not expect to become models. It’s impossible to verify whether or not these girls posed nude for the first time, especially since some of the photoshoots were bought from external companies or photographers. 

The only thing you could be sure of, was that – if it was a genuine Seventeen-shoot – you would see the girls first in this magazine and you would never get to see the same girl twice. Some of these shoots would get recycled in other magazines where they would just make another selection of photos. The shoot with Wendy for example, was also a sex-shoot. They just had the idea to let her first do some solo-posing before she had to fuck. And if you must know, 068 is the backover of this Teen Test and shows the TT’s that were available at the time. The girl of TT42 would become a great pornstar.
