So i was going to post some erotic art today and as i was searching for some i also got the usual deluge of porn. This prompted a discussion, with myself of course, and i remembered the old expression, “Ahhh…but is it Art?” The same question could also be posed in a different way, “Is this free speech?”
To be brutally honest i don’t see a picture of tranny getting fucked hard up the ass as art or free speech. Since the picture itself doesn’t convey any speech and there is obviously no art involved in the picture or the act of getting fucked up the ass. If this was truly art or speech then someone could use the same argument to protect child porn, bestiality, and snuff.
Now i haven’t gone anti-porn by a long shot but i think most people have enough common sense to know that porn isn’t art or free speech. It is what it is, and to a certain extent I’m not sure what porn could be described as other then erotic imagery meant to sexually excite a person.
I guess what has got me riled for the moment is the fact that too many people use the words “art”, “free speech”, and “freedom of expression” way too often to justify what is obviously just porn. These words and expressions become diluted when they are applied too liberally and can destroy the very things they stand for in the end when anything can be justified or defined by those words.
Just my 10 cents on this old issue.
