I have been considering removing all of my captions from this site. It seems that they are only serving as a source for people to take them and present them on tumblr as their own. I know we all repost photos with little regard to the actual ownership - but I don't think anyone posting them is mistaken for the person who took the photo, whereas there certainly seems to be that presumption in regard to the captions added.

Someone please tell me why I shouldn't just shut this down here. I've used the same ID, and I've even posted a note at the gallery to please not repost without credit for the caption. And most infuriating is that the people doing it, don't enable messaging so they can't even be confronted about it.
