Susan Sarandon, along with Patricia Clarkson, are featured in the video Motherlover, an SNL music skit that can be found on youtube in which each becomes the object of attention from her son's friend. It is a little bit of an Oedipal hiccup. But good Oedipal stories are so hard to come by, we'll take what we can get!
You, we need more pop music that sings about fucking mom. We just do.

I would want to date Susan Sarandon even if she were my mother. I would want to date her especially if she were my mother! Much like Cher and Judy Garland are icons in the Gay community, Susan Sarandon is an icon in the Oedipalist community!
