How’s work darling?

It’s slow today.  I’m working on a talk I’ll be giving to a group of doctors this Friday.  They’re interested in the type of investments I handle.  Jerry gave it to me.  I think he’s starting to trust me more.

That’s wonderful dear; it will be nice if you have some more clients.

Yeah, I’m hoping if they’re happy they’ll tell other doctors in Dallas, then the ball will really get going.

That would be nice darling, but about Friday.  You haven’t forgotten that you’ll be picking up Mistress Dora at the airport?

Yeah…about that.  I don’t know how long the talk is going to last, and they’ll want to ask questions.  Could you pick her up this time?

Yes Pattie, I could pick her up, but I won’t.  She specifically requested you; therefore you will be at the airport promptly at 6:30, prepared to receive her at 7:00.

But my meetings with these new clients might run long.

Pattie, stop and think for a moment.  Can you even conceive just how bad things will go for you if you were to be so utterly stupid as to miss Mistress Dora at the airport?

This whole thing kind of scares me.  I don’t know her; I’ve got to pick her up.  Alone.   And from what you’re saying she sounds almost psychopathic.

I’m going to be with her a long time, what’s she going to do?
