Stung by technology!

Even though I sold computers - hardware, printers, and software for a living during the 80's and have remained fairly up to date I still run into glitches like to one that has been plaguing me since I uploaded my first sketch.
Just before Christmas I decided (without much forthought) to upgrade my all-in-one inkjet printer. I had a Dell that I had purchased new but it was hard to buy ink because they wanted you to buy it online and I like to go to computer store. Without giving it a second thought I bought and then setup an Epson WorkForce 2450 and took the Dell to the Habitat for the Humanities (H for H) drop-off where I volunteer.
Then I left town for a few days with family and came back and setup my site on imagefab. Because I had already scanned the four (4) sketches on my page on my old Dell scanner I prepared my next few sketches for upload and opened the scanner lid and realized what I had done! I had given away my 10.5" x 14" scanner. The new one is like 90% of what they sell today is the standard 8.5 x 11 inch format. About 40% of my art work is in 11 x 14 and the newer 60 percent of my art work is in the larger 14" x 17" format.
Since I had volunteered at H for H the previous Saturday I knew that my old Dell had been resold. Soo......I have lot's more to post but no ability to upload unless I shoot digitial pictures and upload them. I have placed an ad on Craigslist looking for a large format scanner and if I don't find what I am looking for by Thursday I will bite the bullet and order a Mustek Scan Express from Amazon for about $200.00 - which is okay - since I took the Epson back to the store and got a $96.00 refund.
My workhorse printer is a HP 2605 color laser so while I'll miss having an All-in-One I'll get by. Sorry that you - my viewers will have to wait a day or two. Me big dummy!
