The title of this blog could only appear on a site like this. On other - non pornographical sites - one would title a blog like: Sexting: a growing youth-problem ect.
The obvious thing to state in a porn blog is: yes, of course young girls should be encouraged to do sexting. If they take nude shots of themselves and share them with their boyfriend or other friends on their smartphones, maybe they choose to pose nude from as soon as they turn 18.
If in highschool boys (and girls) encourage girls to pose nude for their smartphone, this is not necessarily a bad thing. The problem is: there's quite a chance these pics will be used to make fun of the nude girls. Sometimes the girls don't even know someone is taking pictures of them.
So Sexting could encourage girls to pose nude, but I think it's rather exceptional these days. I mean: how many times would a boyfriend take a nude pic of his girlfriend and say: 'Would you like to do this professionally?'
Or: how many times would a boyfriend - with permission of his girlfriend - spread nude pics of her? Not to embarrass her, but to actually encourage her to pose nude?
My general problem with sexting is: it doesn't make nude posing more acceptable. A lot of times sexual arrousal is not the first motivation to spread these nude pics.
My opinion about posing nude (and by this I mean, posing pornographically to make people masturbate) is that it's not just something for the lower class, or the stupid class. It should be for everyone. It's not degrading. It's not even that easy. Not everyone can do it real good. That's why porngirls and -boys deserve respect.
If sexting would raise respect for posing nude, and if the girls (and boys) feel (more) confident about themselves and their bodies, it should definitely be encouraged. Right now, I don't think it does.
