There is many misconceptions about sex as our generations change. Many try to paint sex as something bad, disgusting, ugly, and so forth However, there are those, especially the younger generation, who believe sex is just an average thing, it is considered the norm. Both these views though, have lost the translation as to what sex is. The meaning and value for what it truly is. It is a beautiful thing, but it also special. It is the unity between two people, who share themselves with one another, and engulf themselves in passion and love. This act should not be seen as shameful or devalued for what it is. Media, such as music, tv, movies, and so forth, have devalued sex, it is no longer seen as a lovely or wonderful thing. Parents, Teachers, and even teens amongst themselves have seem to lose the understanding of what sex truly means. Parents will forbid it, teachers warn from it, and friends will look down upon if you have not lost your virginity yet. Sex is not only a form of physical expression but it is also a deeply emotional and symbolic one. We must keep these values alive and remember that sex is a good thing. It should not be seen as bad or shameful, it is beautiful.
