Now as the curtains close on me

I ask that all just leave me be

Ill walk alone in this world so dark

Searching for a place to leave my mark

My health is shaken, my body is weak

Ive finally reached my lifes final peak

Its had its up's and had its down's

Now let's turn all those smiles into frowns

There is a place calling me home

A place im safe to wander and roam

Those gates are open, the fields await

Its better now so i wont be late

Eternity in asphodel awaits my soul

My body forever buried in a deep dark hole

There will be no tears as my lifetime ends

Just hope the hearts of the broken may mend
