Well, hello there.
It's been an awfully long time since I've last put something here. At this point, the thing about answering messages kicks in, too, I haven't been around much. But then again, seeing someone after a long time could be just the topic of today's entry, then.
At the very core the story is not only simple but also mundane and boring, so feel free to just skip this entry and remain in best hopes that someday I'll feel like saying something interesting again. One thing about growing up is that while you certainly gain a little more freedom, that applies to most other people, too. The result is that you grow apart with some folks, them doing what they like and you doing what you like. Stop complaining, better be glad I didn't digress off to the responsibility thing instead!
So, a typical group for that are people you went to school with sometime. One day you graduate and you go seperate ways, suddenly figuring out that there isn't that much you had in common anyway, except for being crammed into the same room for a few hours every day for a couple of years. About time I got to the topic here, so I'll cut short a bit: I met an old friend from back then the other day.
'Long time, no see', as they say. It turned out we have a few things in common these days after all, mostly by virtue of the whole freedom topic, in a sense. It feels funny to meet an old friend you share a few odd memories with and forming a slightly more solid bond. And while the games and toys involved have changed a whole lot, it turned out we still enjoyed playing together after all those years.
I know that putting this all like this makes it all sound perfectly awkward. And maybe that's my whole point here. People change over time and when you're not there along the way, but just see the ends of it, that can easily be a surprise. I'm not around here that much lately and probably the same rules apply. We are all changing and what it eventually comes down to is, that I really have to keep this whole profile more up to date somehow. Don't you worry, though, there isn't anything dramatic. If there was, this would be the place to read about it.
