Is it me... or is their something spooky about getting an alert whichs says the 'John Lennon' is now your fan???

I love JL's music and his wit and style.  The one thing that irritates me about his fans is their dismissal of Paul McCarney as an equally brilliant songwriter.  I don't know where this thing comes from that one has to be better than the other?  John and Paul became greater for working together.

It is like Oasis... Noel is 'the' songwriter (obviously)... but Liam's vocals added a dimension that cannot be replaced.  neither one is 'better'.

 Rant over... Normal service will be resumed as soon as my boyfriend stops watching football and starts murdering me. ;-)
