I have gotten a few messages from people asking what kind of stories I am working on and what kind of stories I like to read. So I thought I would write a little about one of my interests.

I have quite a few ideas floating around. But the first story I expect to finish is in the magic/fantasy setting. I know that may turn some people off because they feel that the setting is not realistic enough to be erotic. But I think it is all about how you write. I don't want my stories to be just about the sex. That does not mean that I don't like stories that are very explicit about the sex. I do like that. But just reading stories like that starts to get old. I can think of quite a few authors who write that sort of stuff very well. But after some time, you don't want to read it because you know that there is not going to be anything really happening in the story. It can all be summarized in a sentence or two if you wish. I really like stories in which there is a bit of adventure, even if the sex is not as descriptive. 

I just thought I would mention a couple of my favourite authors in this genre and stories by them that I really like.

These stories do have some violence and some dark elements that I usually shun, but the plot makes up for it. 

Of course, this is not the only sort of thing I want to write, but I would like to write quite a bit in this setting. So people who are looking for a story that gets to the sex on line 5 are going to be a little disappointed with those stories. 

I do have ideas for other kinds of stories, but I am never really going to write a story unless I have worked out the plot to sufficient depth. A lot of people may find my writing to be "slow". But then I think that people who just want to read dirty words should pick up a good dictionary. It has all the words after all, doesn't it? :)
