IS NOTHING SACRED ???

I think anyone who has ever frequented a seedy Adult Bookstore, would never forget that odor, which I think was a steamy mixture of commercial cleaners, stale cum, and
probably mold .... it was bad, but I think it added to the sleasy feel that made
a visit there a bit exciting !! Funny thing is ... I was just in one yesterday,
which is now referred to as an Adult Mart, and the well laid-out store was
missing the smell, staffed by two young ladies who kept asking me if they could
be of assistance, and full of inventory that you would need a mortgage to pay
for. Gone was the typical older store clerk ... You know ... The guy who looked
like he probably fought in world war II, smoking a cigarette, with his sleeves
rolled up revealing some very vintage tatoos. He never would say a word to you
until you were ready to check out, but you could feel his eyes on you as you
looked around, and you knew that shoplifting would probably result in a good
beating in the alley behind the store. I cut my bondage teeth on those old
bondage mags that I bought at those old bookstores, and even though I would
frequent a few often, the guys working there never befriended me, a fact that
gave me some privacy that was comforting in my quest for my personal kinky
satisfaction. The experience yesterday was not good, and having some yong piece
of fluff trying to assist me in my purchases sucked, especially when checking
out and being subjected to the classic supersize move, with offers of
lubricants, batteries, and disinfectents. Just like so many other things in this
modern world, people have mannaged to complicate things to the point where you
yearn for previous times, when things were simple and easier to cope with. The
adult superstore has replaced those little kinky nooks that once provided both
comfort and relief. There are still little rooms off to the side to view movies,
but they are well marked and look quite inviting ... a far cry from the one
bookstore I used to frequent, that has the unmarked sticky booths at the back of
the store, where you had to walk past piles of crap, down a slender hallway,
just to reach them. Sex sells, and always has, even in bad times, so this
marketing that they do now is kind of stupid, but as I watched some younger
customers being handled by the two porn vixens in the store, I realized that
they had no idea of the good old days, and were quite content having their
privacy invaded ... quite happy in fact, to the point where one young lad was
going on and on about his last purchases and how much he had enjoyed them. Times
have changed ... for the better ??? ... That is debatable !!!
