You asked and so I'll toss in my two cents worth. As for what us gals like in viewing pics of guys, we like to see the whole guy not just his proud erection. We notice hands and chest as much as his scrotum. We love a great smile and penetrating eyes, something that reveals the personality of the man as much as just seeing how endowed he is (or is not). And for me personally, I enjoy the sight of a flaccid penis every bit as much as a raging erection. A flaccid penis allows me to wonder how nice it would be to see it grow, a bit of mystery for a quick mental fantasy trip. A man's butt is also always nice to see. So now, do these pics turn us gals on? That depends mainly on our mood. We enjoy guy pics but they don't always get us super aroused. They peek our interest but don't always make us tingle between the thighs. The best pictures are ones that make the guy both sexy and appear approachable. Sorry for the length but you did ask after all. :)
