When we had finished our meal, the professor helped me to get into my coat and when we
left the restaurant, he asked me if I'f like to see a nice place just off the building. It was a
nice evening, so I agreed
to let him guide me
there. The restaurant
we were in
actually belongs to
a hotel, and just on
the backside of this
building there is
something like a little
park, with neatly
made-up trees and
statues and so on.
The path was a bit
uneven, and I felt like
a bit insecure walking
it in my heels. The professor asked me to link arms
with him, and so we went
through the nightly park,
until we arrived at a
somewhat hidden place:
There is a little pond with
rocks and a cavern, illuminated by changing lights;
the whole spot is surrounded by trees and bushes.
I saw the clear sky and the many stars, listened to
the quietly babbling water, and smelled the professor's after-shave in the cool air. It really is a nice
place, somewhat like a little hide-away...I didn't
know that there is such a place in town.
And
just when I started to think abouthow many
women have been here
with the professor,
he said in his calm
voice: "See that
bench over there?
I'd like to see you
on all fours on
top of it." I must
have looked at
him completely
stumped, then he
just said: "Now." —
I still don't know why,
but I slowly went over
to that bench, kneeled down
on it and bent forwards. Through
the bushes in front of me, I could see the glass wall of the
restaurant, I made out the outlines of the guests and waiters...
After an eternity the professor came over to me, and
tenderly stroking my head he whispered: "Brav." ("Good girl.")
