Here’s a fresh look at the Air Jordan 11 Low IE White/Black, release date scheduled for this August. This is the first look we’ve gotten at the second colorway expected this year, after the AJ11 Low IE Black/Varsity Red, and arguably the best. (Or certainly the cleanest summer colorway.) The shoe goes the “Concord” route, with a white leather-based upper, black mudguard and icy outsole. The shoe mixes grey nubuck on the upper with the occasional white accent, while featuring the usual lace-toggle, plastic side panel and translucent outsole. And if you’re in New York, there’s no real reason to miss out on Extra Butter’s special screening Friday night of “The Howling,” followed by a midnight release of the Air Jordan 5 Wolf Grey.It looks like the Air Jordan 2011 Varsity Red/Wolf Grey-Medium Grey, Air Jordan 2011 Tech Grey/Black-Orion Blue-Chlorine Blue, and Air Jordan 2011 Black/Neo Lime release date have changed again. New York’s Extra Butter (extrabutterny.com) continues their run as the most creative sneaker shop out there, putting together another themed release event for the Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey.” Join them on Friday night at 9:30pm for a free screening of the werewolf classic The Howling, then stick around for a midnight release of the Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey.” Or you could just show up at midnight and cop the shoes, but why pass up a free screening of a classic horror film? Big time reminder here, as the Air Jordan 7 ‘Year of the Rabbit’ release date is scheduled for tomorrow, May 7th, at select Jordan retailers nationwide. The shoe features an absurdly beautiful palette, opting for a flat silver-based upper and white overlays, contrasted by red on the tongue, collar and outsole and gold on the laces, logos and heel pull-tab. The shoe will come in a special edition box (check out the video here for a detailed look) trumpeting the Chinese Year of the Rabbit and will be available in very limited numbers.
