Updates & Log-Out Issue

So first, updates to "Miscellaneous" and "Non-Nude" galleries of a good 50-odd more pics each.
That said, I'm having an annoying-as-fuck issue and I hope someone can help me find a solution.
This site steadfastly refuses to remember my login information. Or remember that I'm logged in. To the point of logging me out IN THE MIDDLE OF UPLOADING! WTF is that? Why is this the only site I know that does such?
Anyone have any clues or fixes?
EDIT: OMG! IT LOGGED ME OUT WHILE I WAS TYPING THIS!

Well, if it helps, I can tell you that when I click on the Username box when going to login, it opens the "remember" drop field (you know what I mean? It's part of a lot of browsers, a feature to remember usernames/passwords for sites?) and anywho, it will not offer me my username -- instead, it remembers my e-mail... dunno if that is a helpful clue-type thing?
My guess would be it's some setting involving the history, but I know personally I don't clear my history virtually ever.
Oh, also: I use an older browser. Maybe that's it? I hate the new Firefox, so I still use 3.6. Maybe that's a commonality? Perhaps something in the site software doesn't like out-dated Firefox?
