Bit of a memory here, bit of an an observation; I promise to try in the future to come up with something more entertaining.

My mother was always the type to take good care of herself; proper diet, daily workouts, all sorts of treatments and make-up to look good and keep the years at bay.  I was born late in her childbearing years; she was 42 at the time, and my birth was something of a surprise.  As a result of this the image of my mother was always that of her in middle age, but a good-looking middle age.

My mother was a small, petite woman (all of four foot nine) but chest--I'll say 34C but that's probably stretching facts and I've never been any great scholar of bra sizes.  She kept her body firm, her tummy toned and flat and her legs alway smooth and shapely; I knew from peeking in on her more than once that she was shaved.  While she wore makeup to cover the crows feet and wrinkles of age she never bothered to die her hair, which was a curly, salt-and-pepper or black-grey that fell past her shoulder blades.  She had blue eyes and wore small, wire rimmed glasses that fit her face perfectly.  My mother grew up poor and as a result of those early years lost all of her teeth before the age of twenty; while she often wore false teeth she just as often did not, and it never seemed to detract from her sex appeal.

What I recall most was her sex appeal and how she dressed.  She liked short skirts, never too short (just below mid-thigh or so) and preferred the style that fit close to the leg, but not tight.  It didn't matter what the fashion trend was, she liked short.  If not skirts then short-shorts; not hot pants but just short shorts.  If she wore a skirt she always wore four-inch pumps and nude or tanned hose or stockings.  If she wore shorts, you'd often see her in a blouse tied to show off her midriff.
