Just over two weeks ago, the CBD and eastern parts of Christchurch (New Zealand) were hit by a 6.3 Mag Earthquake. This was one of several large quakes that have rocked my hometown since September 4th [url=http://www.geonet.org.nz/canterbury-quakes/significant.html] (Recent Canterbury Quakes)[/url]- the one two weeks ago was different from the rest,  centered close to Christchurch, at shallow depth, it brought down buildings already damaged by previous quakes and killed people.
