It is almost one year since I made my first fake and since my first clumsy attempts I have learned a lot and improved a little, I hope--though to me, being something of a perfectionist, it does not always show.  One thing I can discovered is that there is an awful lot to learn about PhotoShop, but even if you learn lots of the techniques and tricks, it is still difficult to make a really good fake unless you have good pictures to worth with.  Unfortunately many members pictures are not of very good quality.

I have recently become interest in writing captions also, and in a way it is much more fun that just making fakes.  The biggest problem I have with both fakes and captions is that it takes me quite awhile to make one and I get more requests than I can realistically handle.
