how it works
When you earn silo units, your Basic and Pro silos will start to fill up.
Each of the 9 levels in your Basic and Pro silos holds an increasing number of units (see table below).
Every hour, some of these units will be removed from your silos and converted into credits.
The number of units removed each hour is a percentage of your total units based on the level that you are currently at.
So if you are at level 5, then 5% of your total units will be removed.
If you are at level 7, ten 7% of your total units will be removed.
here's an example
If you have 600 silo units, your silo will be at level 5.
On the hour, 5% of your total silo units will be converted into credits (rates are shown on the conversion rates
table below). 600 x 5% = 30, so your silo will be reduced by 30 units
bringing your total to 570. With 570 units, your silo will still be at
level 5, so on the next hour, your silo will convert another 5% of your
total units (28 units). This time, your total silo units will be
reduced to 542. This cycle continues every hour, so it is important to
continue surfing in order to maintain a higher silo level and higher
conversion rate.
Pro silo
The Pro silo works just like the Basic silo, but it is only available
to Pro Members. Pro Members will enjoy a much higher conversion as both
Basic and Pro silos will payout every hour simutaneously. Plus every
silo unit you earn gets added to both silos!
PowerPlus silo
The PowerPlus silo is only available to Members with the PowerPlus
add-on. The PowerPlus silo is very powerful and rewarding. Every silo
unit that gets payed out from your Basic and Pro silos gets added to
your PowerPlus silo. Every day at 12AM (midnight) PST/PDT, your
PowerPlus silo will payout into credits (based on the below conversion
rates). The payout works similar to the Basic and Pro silos, so if your
PowerPlus silo is at level 3, 3% of the total PowerPlus silo units will
be payed out. As per the table below, each PowerPlus level holds 15,000
silo units.
recent silo payouts
This section displays the 7 most recent silo payouts for your Basic,
Pro and PowerPlus silos. You can view this information BY DAY or BY
HOUR. Basic and Pro silos pay out every hour (provided you have silo units in them).
PowerPlus silo pays out once per day at 12AM (midnight) PST/PDT
members surfing for you
These are the members that have been assigned to surf for you based on your ranking yesterday (Please see the ranks page for more details.)
Based on the current surf activity, these surfers will be earning you
silo units. These units will be credited to your account at noon and
midnight. You get these surfers for just one day because members are
ranked again at midnight and the surfers are reassigned. To make sure
you always have surfers surfing for you, simply make sure you are
ranking in the top 250 members each day.
