Here are the rules,
1. Know your situation and choose the category that best suits you. If you have excellent credit and you are carrying a High balance on a Bank of America card or a Discover card then you should Probably Apply for an American Express or a "Blue" card from Chase just so you can transfer that High balance and pay it off with 0% APR .
2. I repeat, Know your situation. If you Have nothing but a cell phone and are driving a car you paid for in cash then select "No Credit" Unless you are a student...
3. If you have made some mistakes in the Past, as we all have, and you have not cleared them up yet then select Bad credit and apply for one of the choices there. The amazing thing about the Consumer credit site is the articles they have and the advice at the bottom of the site. Tookme a while to learn this, but you will get accepted if you apply in a good category.
