Yes.
And no.
As a dabbler in the photography of women and other subjects I've had some time to consider this arena. And I've
been around since the beginning of the public internet so I've seen things come and go. I know Alex Jones was
prescient about the concept of "info wars". Or perhaps it was Orwell that was really prescient about the idea of
"memory holing". We know now that those who control, can and will make information disappear at will. So in fact,
SAVE those things -- ideas, images, videos, audio -- that are important. They won't be around forever, publicly.
It's possible a day may come where even privately that information may be disappeared out from under you, as
the system continues to invade into our personal privacy spaces.
In the realm of the commodity of porn, it is an ongoing flood of content and there is only so much room for it in
the consumption space. Like drugs, the appetite for content is voracious. So while yes, content that goes up will
find quarter in many corners of the internet, in time it is slowly replaced with new content. Does anyone remember
Amber Lynn or Seka, the porn stars of the 70s and 80s? Of course not. You'd have to look pretty hard to find one
of their shots today.
Another aspect of porn is that women are often radically painted up with makeup making them almost
unrecognizable from their natural state. I say this as a professional photographer who has often employed
makeup services. To compare the woman against her photos, one would have a hard time making the connection.
There's a resemblance but isn't that the charm of much of porn -- a particular set of shots that reminds you
of someone you know. It is often that way with any given woman and her own porn content. At least on a
professional level -- amateur style notwithstanding.
And the final aspect is that women age out. The porn content they leave behind is "old news", both in time
and relevance to how they look now. Meaning, you'll not likely recognize a porn star from her content of a
decade ago. At best, there's a "resemblance". And the truth is, over time you'll start to see recurring face
types -- normal every day resemblances over time. Like the good Lord only had so many face-types to work
with. Maybe 100 or so? 200? There's really not as many face types as you might guess. And no offense to
hot blondes but that's why hot blondes kinda bore me. They all look alike. So no, the internet is in fact not
forever. What goes up will eventually disappear. Time, age, content flood... it sweeps content away.
