tried going to the chat but every time im clicj the commect button i get sent back to imagfaps landing page doe it work at all ?

You can shoot me a message if you want and i can try to assist you.
The ones that say it "hasn't worked i ages" actually have a expected reason that they cannot access although i do not see a record for you ever having connected.

Logg into the chat before doing anything else on IF.
With some luck it works.

It does but sometimes you need to log off from Ifap and re enter your name and password
