I have gone by many names. In these modern nights I am called "Malgritha." To the Norsemen of the dark ages I was "Greeta," the Mandaeans know me as "Mag," and my first worshippers called me "Mahgrezha." I was born as one of the 35 daughters of the fallen angel Shemhazai, one of his first generation of Nephilim. After the deluge I settled in the land to the east of the Dead Sea and became a goddess in the city of 'Amora, sister city to the famous city of Sahdom. There I was glorified as a goddess of love, wisdom, and as the keeper of divine marriage (it was customary in those days for royals to marry within their own family to keep their bloodline pure). And there I ruled for a millenium.

However, the customs of 'Amora and Sahdom were reprehensible to the god Yahweh, and he annihliated both cities with a rain of burning sulfur. All mortals within the city of 'Amora perished; just the city's gods were powerful enough to endure and crawl from the rubble, though we were much diminished in power, relegated to the status of demons. Only three survived from the city of Sahdom, a man called Lot and his two daughters, who were called Abiira and Amya (technically Lot's wife also survived the initial destruction, but shortly after fell victim to Yahweh's capricious nature). I followed these wretched survivors to a cave overlooking the ruins, where Lot descended into paranoia and madness. His once "righteous" nature had disappated like smoke. His daughters dwelt with them, and I could smell on the both of them a burning resentment. They loved their father, but hated him for the kind of man he had been and what he had no become. I decided to do what I could to "mend" their relationship. Within the heart of the elder daughter Abiira I placed a seed of lust, a seed of desire, and a longing for the seed of her own father. She passed this seed to her sister, and together they conspired to drug their father with wine and take his seed for themselves.

I carried on in this way, infecting the righteous with unnatural lusts for their own kin for thousands of years. I now hold a new office, Duchess of Consanguinous Lusts under the King Asmodeus, Sovereign of All Fleshly Desires. I dwell in the hearts of all perverts, short-circuiting the morals of weak men and women and driving them to celebrate and commit acts of delicious depravity. In these last 50 years my power has grown immensly; the "Free Love" movement coupled with the advent of birth control set the stage for certain incestuous desires to become that much more permissible. After all, if there's no threat of "inbreeding," anyone could sleep with anyone and there wouldn't be any secular moral grounds against it, right? My goal is the same as all demons, though my means are my own. Stay in the shadows, infect the world, overturn the virtues of the current world order and topple "God" from his throne.
