Finally reunited with my Master after 7 years, it's clear how far I've strayed from the path. I haven't forgotten much, but I lack consistent practice. The Master gets what he wants because he deserves it.

In the morning, I get up at 4:30, 30 minutes before the Master. I wash and do my morning exercises. There's a bowl of apples in my room, but eating at that time is strictly forbidden. I'm allowed to drink water. Then I kneel by the door and wait to be picked up. Usually, the first thing the Master does is let me out at 5:00 sharp so I can start my regular shift. If that doesn't happen, I stay kneeling in front of the door until 12:15 p.m. No, I don't just pretend, like many others do, quickly scurrying to my seat when something happens at the door. I stay in my seat. There are three permitted positions, so I can change my position.

I haven't done that in years. It's very exhausting, even after years of daily practice. Theoretically, I'm under video surveillance, but no one has the time to constantly monitor me. It's more of an option to check in now and then. I have to expect to be checked at any time.

Of course, I'm allowed to do other things while kneeling in front of the door, like writing this blog entry.

If I'm not picked up by 12:15 p.m., I can do whatever I want. That doesn't mean I'm off duty.

As soon as the master enters the room, I must immediately stop all activities and go to my seat. My life has only one priority - to serve!
