I should note that until this point, I have never spoken a word to this woman and only knew of her existence after she followed my account and I added her back.

Honestly, I get that women shouldn't be expected to deal with guys constantly creeping on them but that is in the normal, everyday world. 

This is not the everyday world, though and as such many of the rules that apply in everyday life do not apply here.

Signing up for a pornsite like this with your personal picture (let alone adding random men to draw attention to yourself.) is like walking into a sex club dressed in full bondage gear: you are advertising that you are not merely an observer and as such you should expect people to proposition you. Heck, that you even signed up for an account at all means you should expect to be propositioned even if you are only there as an observer because such is the nature of such places.

I get all sorts crop up in my inbox: some of it nice, some of it rude and disrespectful, most of it is stuff I'm not into.

And do you know what I do? I ignore the insults and stuff I'm not into and reply only to the people who interest me. I don't write an invective trying to shame all the swingers and gay guys who proposition me.

People are here to have fun. They're not here to be attacked and shamed by prudish, self-righteous arseholes who've wandered out of their comfort zone and now expect everyone to play by their rules.
