I found that my 1 ml syringe packed with dried Mud can be uncomfortable at times, the edge where the tip was cut off has an irritating sharp edge. Additionally, the flange at the end prevents the syringe from being sounded completely.
For better / safer comfort and unlimited sounding options, I have a 4 inch length of aquarium air tubing that I have completely packed with fresh garden Mud over it's full 4 inch length. After deeply filling my urethra with Mud, I sounded the Mud packed tubing and since there is nothing to stop it, the entire tube now sits inside my urethra. I can easily palpate and feel the end sits two inches in from my urethra's entrance.
In the past, I've had this same length of tubing sounded while I slept over night without any complications, so tonight's plan is to have the Mud packed tubing sounded when I go to bed.
